Big names join previously-leaked Minesweeper, Solitaire titles.
Microsoft has announced the first wave of Xbox Live games to be released for Windows 8 devices, playable on any PC, laptop or tablet.
The "Xbox Live on Windows 8" range will launch from 26th October and include big-name Microsoft Studios titles such as Kinectimals, Toy Soldiers and ilomilo.
Angry Birds developer Rovio and Fruit Ninja crew Halfbrick are also on board, with additional support from Miniclip, Gameloft and others.
Games will be available to download via the Windows 8 Xbox Games app and Windows 8 Store. The range is a separate entity to Microsoft's much-maligned Games for Windows Live offering - indeed, the company previously stated it would not abandon the service.
The range first came to light when Achievements for traditional Windows games Minesweeper and Solitaire were leaked earlier this month. Presumably they will still come free, while many others in the list below won't.
