Personal Trainer Stephanie Mansour: Meet TV Trainer Stephanie ...

Now that the weather has given us an early taste of summer, you may find that your body is still?happily in winter hibernation mode. If you?ve tried on your Cheeky summer clothes and they seem a little snug, maybe it?s time to find some extra motivation!

Enter TV star and CEO of Step It Up With Steph, Stephanie Mansour. Stephanie is an on-air health and fitness expert and body image and confidence coach, a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor as well as an in-home personal trainer for women. After gaining the dreaded ?freshman fifteen? in college, she started an aerobics TV show to get fit. ?I had always known that I wanted to host my own TV show, but in college I decided that I wanted to mentally and physically help women feel empowered to take control of their lives and their bodies,? she explains.

From there Stephanie began her own company Step it Up With Steph to promote health and fitness nationwide from mind to body. This busy, busy girl private trains women in Chicago, hosts one day intensives out of town, gives corporate presentations?and keeps women fit with her 30 day workbook 30 Days to Love Your Body and Your Life. As for where to start she says, ?You need to get your head in gear before you can get your butt in gear!? She stresses that you need to figure out why you don?t value yourself enough to give your body the proper fuel it needs and why you aren?t more active. ?If you?re in the right mental state about your weight, your body and food, you?ll reach your physical goals. If you?re not, you won?t,? Stephanie tells us.

Stephanie takes her positive attitude to the?NBC5?show Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is (Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm). Here she trains people on how to get into the right mindset. This reality weight loss show takes a different approach than other weight loss shows; trainers keep overweight contestants motivated with a monetary incentive. For every pound they lose, contestants receive ten bucks! Clients have twelve weeks to lose 30% of their body fat. Stephanie?s client Marissa on the show has 83 pounds to lose; just seven weeks in, she has lost 50 pounds!

Being the biggest loser is forever now a good thing.
