I know this toddler bed is expensive, but it's a Gruffalo toddler bed so we can't expect anything else - it has, at least, been reduced a little bit: down to ?111.75 from ?149.
However, if you've got a young Gruffalo fan who wants a Gruffalo themed room then, perhaps, everyone in the family can club together and give it as a large combined pressie..? ?It's just an idea and will save you from having to pay for it all yourself.
I find it impossible to get off the fence when it comes to themed toddler beds:
1) Because they're usually so expensive and I don't like to feel I'm being ripped off; and
2) Kids can be fickle! ?What happens when they're most favourite character one week, isn't?their most favourite character the next!?
But maybe I'm just a themed room grouch and my children were themed-room deprived as a result. ?If you're less of a grinch than me, I'd get yourself over to Sainsbury's fairly pronto and order your Gruffalo toddler bed - in my experience, anything Gruffalo (regardless of price) tends to go out of stock pretty quickly.
The Gruffalo toddler bed has side panels to stop your little one falling out of bed, there's a detachable shelf, a cubby hole for stashing books and there are two storage drawers underneath. ?It doesn't come with a mattress, you're going to have to buy one of those separately and it'll need to measure: 140cm x 69cm.
You can't collect this from your local store, but standard delivery is free and will take between three and five working days.
